Good News for a Change! Magnetic Safety Barrier handrails now in GRP

GOOD NEWS FOR A CHANGE!

Dear Sir or Madam,

You mayhave  recently expressed an interest in the European Innovation Awarded RSS Magnetically Attached Safety Barrier sold through ourselves, Innovative Railway Safety Ltd, in GB & Eire.

Indeed, you may have already requested and received a quotation for a specified length of the Safety Barrier, which we hope you are considering purchasing in the near future given the short RoI and the continued Health & Safety of your workforce.

As you will be aware, at the time of demonstration and quotation, all handrail tubes were made of aluminium, leading some to comment of the potential for ‘re-cycling’ given the culture of metal theft currently in the UK.

 NOT ANYMORE!

In compliance with our programme of continuous R & D (*see footnote), we have responded to your comments and developed a Glass Re-enforced Plastic (GRP) handrail, which ultimately is both superior in strength and lighter than the aluminium handrail.  They still have the same patented interlocking mechanism, and in all other respects remain the same accepting that the colour is now BLUE. (or a variety of other permutations on special request)

The not so good news is that the ‘new’ handrails are a few £0.00 / metre more than the aluminium.

HOWEVER THE REALLY GOOD NEWS IS THAT IF YOU HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED A QUOTATION, WE WILL HONOUR THE PRICE QUOTED, INCLUDING ANY DISCOUNTS OFFERED, AND SUPPLY YOU WITH THE ‘NEW GRP’ HANDRAILS AT THE SAME PRICE FOR ALL ORDERS RECEIVED BY SEPTEMBER 30TH.

What could be better news?  No more digging out and replacing ballast, no more lost components, a significant reduction in possession times and a happy, fresh workforce to complete the job you are meant to be doing instead of spending days digging out ballast for erecting, dismantling and replacing/re-tamping ballast, just to provide workforce protective safety barriers as required by Law.  It makes even more sense to buy now as delivery can be scheduled for some months ahead.

(*We are currently developing our existing and a new range of safety products and signage for the GB & Eire Rail Infrastructure details of which we will provide in due course on receipt of Network Rail Product acceptance).
